A moment in passing.

I was walking out of the Roost this morning when one of the 4th grade visitors ran up to Farmer Ben and I heard, “I appreciate everything here. It’s a million out of 10.” I wanted to stay and listen to the rest of the conversation, but to avoid interruption I kept going as Ben cheerfully replied and engaged the kids in further banter and glee. 

When I stepped into the program building I couldn’t help but turn around and snap this picture:

It’s subtle, but if you know Ben you know his conversational stance. Tall, friendly, always hands in pockets, and captivating the listeners attention. Red Gate Farm creates the most magical moments in the simplest of ways; this was one of them.
